Our History

Oluyole social elite was founded in the month of November 1970 with a thought born out of youthful pride in the founder's place of birth, ibadan and the knack to impart positively on peers of ibadan origin by encouraging them to play their won role in the progress and development of ibadan sons and daughters.

The "FIVE" who championed the corse included Jimoh Diekola Onaolapo, Muili Adewolu Oluokun, Nurain Abbey Aminu, Tajudeen Aderemi Ajekiigbe and Rabiu Oyeniyi Bello all who were budding stars and students easing out tension trough relaxation and intellectual discussions on trending local meetings with hosting rotated among themselves. As time were on membersip kept on increasing.

As young as they were the development of ibadanland was paraamount in their mind thus they embarked on enlightenment, advocacy philanthropic activities which include bursary awards to disable and indigene student.These efforts among others earned the club commendation from late Chief P.P . Ladapo, a prominent High Chief in ibadanland. Quoting Chief P.P. Ladapo in 1971 he wrote " i am very much delighted because the birth of the elite is a realization of my dream. it is gratifying to note that a few patriotic element could put their heads together to initiate an ideal society of this nature whose objectives are mainly directed towards the social emancipation of ibadan city. I whish to inform that i support wholeheartedly the objectives so enunciated. I plead that the rank and file of the elites should associate itself with the aspiration of the existing economic advancement tour great city.

As at the time, membership stood at twenty one (21) but today it is the cynosure of all eyes with the number now recording more than 300% increment.
